La Gratia House is a 5 bedroom, 10 sleeper, self-catering holiday house in Uvongo. The weekend rate for this large family home is R2200.00 per night out of season. This South Coast pet friendly accommodation has beautiful sea views from the patio’s, lounge and bedrooms. The spacious double story family holiday home, has an solar power and inverter system to assist you during load shedding and is secured with an alarm system, security cameras and an electric fence. Internet connection is provided and you can log into Netflix, DSTV etc; using your own login details on the Smart TV. Alternatively you can bring your own DSTV decoder (with your cables and remote) and connect to the satellite dish provided. The house has a back-up water system for any water interruptions.
Uvongo is a popular family holiday destination year round due to its sub-tropical climate and renowned beaches; Uvongo Beach to the left and Lucien beach to the right. Uvongo is situated between Shelly Beach (5km) and Margate (3km) where there are many shopping centers, restaurants, pubs and cinemas, nearby for those days you don’t spend on the beach.
This pet friendly holiday home is suitable for larger families or smaller family with pets (Approval and a pet deposit is required). Please remember to bring your own bedding, blankets, food and water bowls for your fur baby.
La Gratia House is not available for adult group bookings or parties! No more than 10 guests in total (adults and children combined) are permitted on the property.
The lounge, dining room and kitchen downstairs are open plan and there is a separate scullery with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The long, granite breakfast counter separates the kitchen from the rest of the open plan living area.
Gaze out to sea from the patios, La Gratia House has two; one upstairs off the main bedroom and one downstairs off the lounge. Both patios overlook the swimming pool which is fenced off to keep the children safe. The charcoal braai is on the downstairs patio, close to kitchen and swimming pool.
Parking is easy in the double, motorized lock-up garages (Solar power & Inverter assisted) and there is room in front of the garages should you have an extra car.
The main bedroom of La Gratia House is upstairs and has a queen sized bed, en-suite bathroom with a bath and opens onto the upstairs patio that has a beautiful sea view. The 2nd bedroom upstairs has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath with inter-leading doors. The 3rd bedroom upstairs has a double bed and the 4th upstairs bedroom has 2 single beds. The 5th bedroom is downstairs and has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There are sea views from all the bedrooms of this 10 sleeper house on the South Coast of KZN.
Lilliecrona Boulevard, which is a couple of roads down from this South Coast pet friendly accommodation; is the perfect place to take your dog for morning walks. The road stretches from Uvongo Beach and the Uvongo pier to Lucien Beach.
