Manaba Beach

Manaba Beach has self-catering sea front holiday accommodation along the seafront between Uvongo and Margate on the Hibiscus South Coast of South Africa. This beautiful stretch of coastline is well known for its beaches, bays and fishing spots. Lucien Beach, a Blue Flag Beach is the main swimming beach in Manaba Beach. It is well maintained with lifeguards on duty and stairs down to the beach.  You can walk to Margate Main Beach from Lucien Beach and this popular surfing beach has an elevated parking bay from which you can view whales, dolphins and sardines activity during the winter months.

Lilly Crona Boulevard is the seaside road that stretches between Uvongo Beach and Lucien Beach. This scenic road is popular with locals and holiday makers alike for walking, jogging and cycling. Shad bay is on this stretch of coastline and as its name implies it is a “hot spot” for the tasty silver fish when they are biting.

As most of the seaside accommodation in Manaba Beach is built on the hillside so the sea views are spectacular. This is a truly beautiful stretch of the Hibiscus Coastline.
